We are pleased to announce that a Putnam Valley High School senior, Quinn Gilman-Forlini, has earned national recognition in The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards of 2011, presented by the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers. Quinn was recognized as being among the most talented young artists and writers in the nation. This year, 185,000 works were submitted for review. Congratulations to our new High School Principal, Mr. Vincent Burruano. At the February 3rd meeting, the Board of Education appointed Mr. Burruano, to the position. After serving as Principal at Peekskill High School, Mr. Burruano comes to Putnam Valley with a wealth of knowledge and experience. After much deliberation, the PV BOE is pleased to announce that Dr. Barbara Fuchs will be our new Superintendent effective July 1, 2011.
